What's on Free vs Business

The limits and features of each plan, what happens when you hit a limit, and how to change plan.

For everyone. Only an admin can change the plan.

Aiome has two plans. Free is a real workspace with real limits, meant for a tiny team trying things out. Business is the whole product.

What the Free limits actually mean

  • 1 project means one active project. Archived projects do not count, so you can archive one and start another.
  • 3 seats counts the people in the workspace, including you.
  • 1 channel is usually #general. Direct messages are not channels and are not limited.

Hitting a limit never deletes anything. Aiome stops you from adding a fourth SOP; it does not remove the three you have.

What you see when you hit a limit

Aiome shows a short message naming the limit — for example “Free includes 1 channel” — and offers to upgrade. For projects and for seats, it also offers to swap: archive the current project to make room for a new one, or free a seat to invite someone else.

Changing plan

An admin opens Settings in the left sidebar, then Billing. Non-admins do not see the Billing tab — if you need an upgrade, ask an admin in your workspace.

Time Off and Time Tracking do not appear in the sidebar at all on Free. If a teammate can see them and you cannot, check the plan before assuming it is a permission problem.
