Downgrade or cancel

How to move from Business to Free, what you keep, and how replace dialogs work at Free limits.

Downgrading cancels Business at the end of the current billing period. Until then, nothing changes. You can undo a scheduled downgrade anytime before it takes effect.

Schedule a downgrade

  1. Open Settings → Billing.
  2. Click Downgrade Organization.
  3. Choose which 1 channel, 1 project, 3 SOPs, and 3 seats to keep. The owner always stays.
  4. Click Downgrade to Free.

Everything over the Free limits is parked, not deleted. Time off, time tracking, and the org chart are removed from the sidebar on Free. They return if you upgrade again.

While a downgrade is scheduled, Billing shows when Business ends and an Undo cancel button.

Replace dialogs on Free

On Free, some actions need you to swap instead of add:

  • Projects — restore an archived project when you already have one active.
  • Seats — invite a fourth person when three seats are full.

Channels hit the limit with an upgrade prompt only — no replace dialog.
