For workspace admins.
Deactivating someone cuts their access but keeps their history. A wipe is a separate, scheduled erasure of that person's leave notes, time records, and files. Chat messages stay, attributed to Deleted user.
Deactivate the member first — see Deactivate, reactivate, and leaving.
Schedule a wipe
- Click Settings → Org Settings.
- Under Danger zone, click Delete user's data.
- Search for a deactivated member, select them, and type their name to confirm.
- Click Schedule wipe.

The wipe is scheduled 30 days out and can be undone until then from the Scheduled member wipes list on Org Settings. Danger zone actions and org deletion share the same 30-day pattern.
